Crusading for Answers

So... we have a bit of an understanding of the beginning or and FIRST Crusade/s. Lets dive a little deeper.

Handy hint... the next activitiy I am going to let you have a go at a QUIZLET, you can see how much you already know about the First Crusades and Crusades already! So... make sure you take some great notes to get you prepared.

We are going to use our SKIMMING and SCANNING skills to learn a few more things. 

1. In your History Notepad write the following questions:

a) Who was SALADIN?

b) What changes in TRADE occured because of the crusades?

c) Did Muslims and Christiandom become FRIENDS at the end of the crusades?

d) Why did everyone want to be in charge of Jerusalem?

e) Who was Pope Urban II?

f) Overall, were the Crusades successful?
